Tiger’s Eye has been used for years as an amulet against the evil eye, curses and bad luck, and as a charm for bringing wealth and good fortune. 

Historically Tiger’s Eye has been used in protective medicine.

​Ancient Roman soldiers wore tiger’s eye as a protection and grounding tool. They were believed that it brings alertness, clarity and deeper insight into situations.

​Tiger's eye (or tiger eye) is a chatoyant gemstone (meaning that it shows bands of bright reflected light and gives off a silky luster with a “cat’s eye” effect), that is usually a metamorphic rock with a golden to red-brown color and a silky luster.

As a member of the quartz group, the tiger's eye gains its silky, lustrous appearance from the parallel intergrowth of quartz crystals and altered amphibole fibers that have mostly turned into limonite. 

In appearance, Tiger's Eye is a shimmering stone with combinations of brownish-yellow and golden colors. As a gold gemstone, Tiger's Eye is associated with success, enthusiasm, happiness, and power.​
